VIGdis bronder

After working at a Top 10 law firm in New York City in their Technology & Intellectual Property Transactions Group, Vigdis served as in-house counsel at NBCUniversal Media, LLC and Weight Watchers International, Inc. Vigdis graduated from Columbia Law School in 2007, winning the Carroll G. Harper Prize for achievement in intellectual property studies and writing. Vigdis is admitted to the Oregon and New York State Bar and has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including media, consumer products, food and beverage, fashion, sports, technology services, financial services, and pharmaceuticals. Vigdis also co-founded a start up company, and founded Viking Law LLC, a legal practice dedicated to helping start ups, web and software development businesses, creative professionals and other small businesses in their everyday legal needs.

Vigdis joined Biddle Law PC as Counsel in 2017, where her practice focuses exclusively on supporting standards setting organizations, open source foundations, and other technology consortia. Vigdis has coordinated the launch of several new standards setting organizations, developed groundbreaking  intellectual property policies, and managed a complex array of contractual, trademark, copyright, data protection and corporate compliance matters for both newly-founded and large, well-established global standards setting organizations. Vigdis leads Biddle Law PC’s trademark practice, overseeing a set of client trademark portfolios that span nearly 50 jurisdictions worldwide.
